Data Deletion Request
How to have your OnlineReputation.top account and personal data deleted — what is removed, what cannot be, and how to ask.
1. Cancelling is not deleting
These are two different things, and it is worth being sure which one you want:
- Cancel your subscription
- Stops billing and stops campaign work. Nothing is deleted — your campaign, ranking history and published content are kept for 365 days so the account can be resumed. You can do this yourself from the application's settings.
- Delete your account and data
- Permanently removes your account and the records listed in section 4. There is no undo. This is the request described on this page.
Deletion is handled as a request rather than a self-service button because it reaches systems beyond our own database — the payment provider, the authentication provider and already-published pages — and because it cannot be reversed.
2. How to make a request
Email us from the address the account uses. The link below opens a message with the subject and the details we need already filled in:
If the link does not work on your device, send an email to support@onlinereputation.top with the subject Data deletion request and include:
- the email address the account uses;
- the campaign or business name, if you know it;
- whether you also want pages already published for your campaign taken down (see section 7);
- confirmation that you understand the request is permanent.
If you are signed in, you can also send the request through the support form in the application's settings, which reaches the same place.
3. How we identify your account
Accounts are identified by the email address held against them. Sending the request from that address is what lets us match it to an account.
If you email from a different address, we will need to confirm you control the account before acting — we will not delete an account on an unverified request, because deletion cannot be undone.
4. What is deleted
When the request is carried out, the following records are removed from our database:
- Your account record — the account identifier, email address, name and profile picture URL.
- Your reputation profile — business or personal name, business type, description, location, website, keywords, competitors, suppression targets, the issues you described, and your content direction.
- Your campaigns and their keyword-change history, suppression targets, campaign slots and purchase requests.
- Campaign working records — keyword requests, content jobs, calendar entries, generated articles and blog records, documents, and the site records for pages built for the campaign.
- Your ranking history — the search-position snapshots collected over the life of the campaign.
- Your subscription record held by us, and the Stripe identifiers stored against it.
- Your support messages and your notification preferences.
5. What is not deleted, and why
Some things survive a deletion. We would rather tell you exactly what and why than describe the deletion as more complete than it is.
- Payment records at Stripe
- Your subscription is cancelled, but Stripe retains the customer record, invoices and charges as financial records. We cannot delete those on Stripe's behalf, and financial records are normally required to be kept.
- Your sign-in credential at Auth0
- See section 6 — this one needs an action from you.
- Pages already published
- See section 7.
- A record of the deletion itself
- We keep a record that a deletion was requested and carried out, including the email address it concerned, together with an audit entry showing which operator performed it. This is the audit trail that makes an irreversible action accountable afterwards.
6. Your sign-in credential
Deleting your account does not delete your login credential. Authentication is handled by Auth0, and the application does not hold the administrative permissions needed to remove an identity there. Your email address and password will still work.
Because the credential still works, signing in again after a deletion creates a new, empty account rather than restoring the old one. If you want the credential removed as well, say so in your request and we will tell you what we are able to do.
7. Pages already published
Content published for your campaign lives on our publishing platform as public web pages. Deleting your account records does not automatically take those pages down, and search engines may have already indexed them.
Tell us in your request whether you want published pages taken down. Where pages remain after a deletion, we will tell you which addresses they are, so you know what is still live rather than having to discover it.
8. What happens after you ask
- We acknowledge the request and, if necessary, ask you to confirm that you control the account.
- We review what will be removed. Before anything is deleted, an operator reviews the account and the records attached to it.
- External systems are handled first. Your subscription is cancelled at Stripe before any local record is removed. If that step fails, the deletion stops there rather than leaving a subscription billing an account that no longer exists.
- Our own records are removed in the order the database requires, so that nothing is left orphaned.
- We confirm the outcome to you. If any part could not be completed — a credential we cannot remove, pages still live — the request is reported as partly completed, with the remainder named. It is never reported as complete when it is not.
